Here are some pics from our family vacation this year.  We rented a house in Isle of Palms, South Carolina which is right outside Charleston.  It was a beautiful beach town and the weather was perfect everyday, although quite hot when not on the beach or in the pool!

Lexie learned to swim with arm floaties and was a fish all week.  Henry just enjoyed everything even though he was cutting some molars that you could tell were hurting him.

We toured Charleston on horse and buggy one day learning all about the history of the city and enjoyed a nice seafood lunch followed by the best ice cream sundae  I ever had!

Josh, Malcolm, and I went on a jet ski safari one day and had a blast trying to soak one other from the wake on our jet skis.  We followed up our jet ski fun with a trip to the local bar while Grammy and Grandpa watched the kids!

My parents also rented a boat for the day where we got to fish, swim, search for sea shells, and lunch on our own private island!  My Dad was catching baby shark that the kids had fun touching.  We wrapped up the day touring the Charleston harbor passing right by Fort Sumtner.

We celebrated by Mom's birthday a week early with ice cream cake and in genral just enjoyed each other and the sun!

Most mornings were beach days while we swam in our backyard pool all afternoon trying to get in before the mosquitos came out at night.

And now I have a 2nd week off here in LA before I head back to the crazniess of Blur!
