I had my 1st weekend away without the family last month.  I was in in Sonoma Valley's Russian River at my friend Michelle's bachelorette weekend!  It was a kid free weekend of wine tasting, yummy food, games, beautiful Redwood trees, fresh air, and beautiful, wonderful friends.  

I am a bridesmade in Michell's wedding this October which is in Paso Robles wine country, so Malcolm and I get our 1st kid free weekend for that since my parents will be coming out to watch them.
